The Jerusalem post asked people to help the parents of an Israeli teenager who was bullied and physically attacked by his Palestinian classmates.
The post, titled “The Israeli teenager is bullied by Palestinian students at school”, read, “A classmate hit the teenager with a rock on the head, causing a cut.
This classmate then hit him with a water bottle and a glass bottle, and threw a chair at him.
He was hit with a rubber ball, causing him to fall down the stairs.”
The post said the teenager was taken to the hospital and later diagnosed with multiple facial fractures.
He later recovered.
His mother, Jennifer Williams, said her son was very brave and that the Israeli military was there to protect him.
She called the incident an act of terrorism, and said she was grateful for the response of other students.
“It’s not just the Israelis.
The Palestinians, too, are the victims of this.
They’re the ones who are bullied and attacked, and we are the ones doing everything to stop it,” she said.
The IDF does not comment on the security of soldiers.
